Slavish Copying

Hello Everyone,
I appear to have begun a blog.  To be frank I'm unsure why.  Well, yes I do know why - because I'm copying some of  my friends.  In particular the group of music enthusiasts and bloggers known as the 'Massive' that filled the sadly now defunct Word Magazine's website with good humour, erudition and whimsy.  They all seem to have created blogs for themselves, all filled with insight, intellect and hilarious filth. 

I can only promise the latter here.  Possibly along with puns.  And photos of cakes. 

You will have noticed none of any on that list appearing  thus far.  This is a trait of mine which I will ask you to note.  Over-promising and under-delivering.  I think it's charming, though I'm lucky not to have been punched in the nuts on several occasions because of this very habit.

No matter.  Here I am.  I will seek to find a voice that I like, and I hope you'll like.  I'll find things to say that over time may not be too vacuous.  Eventually.  In the meanwhile, think of a number - double it, add 7.
